Gabriel’s Angels
Our Mission is to deliver healing pet therapy to at-risk children, nurturing their emotional development and enhancing the quality of their lives forever.
Through the love of a Therapy Dog, children can discern tolerance, gain confidence and learn how to properly treat other living things. When at a visit, children have the opportunity to interact with a Therapy Dog team by listening to their heart, feeding them treats and brushing their teeth. They quickly begin to show signs of happiness; they’ll began to feel a sense of responsibility and what it’s like to feel needed and loved by someone. Once children learn empathy, compassion, and trust they are less likely to repeat the cycle of violence of which they were once victims. This positive reaction to the unconditional love of a pet has proven to be very powerful and effective and is the very foundation of Gabriel’s Angels.
