By now, you have discovered that Arizona has some history. Let’s look at a few names that the old timers came up with. Here’s one that makes sense….Horseshoe Bend (And you thought that our names here were just made up.)

The horseshoe shaped meandering of the Colorado River just a bit outside of Page is a real challenge if you don’t like to go around in circles.

Mother Nature took her time with this one. It’s changing colors from the sky above make you believe that she has a few tricks up her sleeve. Horseshoe Bend is spectacular, amazing and stunning. Bring a camera for this one. And, if you view the Bend from above, watch the kids and yourself because there is not much to hold onto when you are looking down from the top of a cliff.
