FEATURED CITY – SEDONA

Sedona, AZ

Sedona is a city that sits on the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley.
Sedona’s main attraction is its stunning red sandstone formations…. the Red Rocks of Sedona. The formations appear to glow orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The Red Rocks form a breathtaking backdrop for everything from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.
Sedona is named after Sedona Arabelle Miller Schnebly, the wife of Theodore Carlton Schnebly, the city’s first postmaster.
This city is surrounded by red-rock monoliths named Coffeepot, Cathedral and Thunder Mountain. At the north end of the city is Oak Creek Canyon, a breathtaking chasm.
You’ll also find world-class hotels, resorts, bed and breakfasts and a very good variety of dining.
